Infinix officially unveils display specs for its scent-infused Note 50s 5G+

Infinix is camping up its teaser campaign for the upcoming Note 50s 5G+. The brand initially announced that one of this phone’s colorways will feature a world-first scent microencapsulation technology. This technology will allow it to release a light, refreshing scent for up to six months.

Today, the brand is back teasing some more aspects of the device. The Note 50s 5G+ is billed to be India’s slimmest 144 Hz curved AMOLED smartphone in its segment. This is one of those incredibly specific claims. Such claims are very prevalent in the Indian smartphone market these days, for better or worse.

The screen will measure 6.78″ diagonally. It will have FHD+ resolution. An embedded fingerprint sensor is included, which we assume is optical since it isn’t advertised as ultrasonic. The panel will support PWM dimming at 2,304 Hz, reducing eye strain for those sensitive to PWM dimming.

On top of the screen is a sheet of Gorilla Glass 5. The device also promises support for 10-bit color depth. It ensures 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
